Another Fuzz

A 2n3904 fuzz face. I started with the Zvex Fuzzolo schematic, but through breadboard tweaking I ended up with a more standard design, ditching the SHO and the PW control of the Fuzzolo. The LOW/CUT controls switch caps on the input and output. The two LEDs are in the output signal path, acting as a gate, and lighting up with the signal. I found that small bright red LEDs worked best for this.

The graphics were made by making a sort of stencil with letters cut from masking tape and nail polish and then applying an etching/blacking solution.
